About Zhongshan Bridge
Its latticework and curved strengthening arches distinguish it from the older floating bridges that once served this crossing. The structure is both a piece of transport history and a useful viewpoint for the city’s narrow valley. Observe it from the southern bank, then cross to see how the bridge connects the riverfront with the northern hillside.
What to look for
- The iron lattice structure and the five curved strengthening arches.
- The Yellow River view toward White Pagoda Mountain from the crossing.
The surrounding area
Riverbank walks, beef noodles and tea culture make a useful beginning or ending to a provincial route.
