Woodland and rock landscapes

The Southern Sichuan Bamboo Sea (蜀南竹海) is one of the county’s principal attractions. At the Western Bamboo Stone Forest (西部竹石林), karst scenery combines a surface stone forest with underground caves, sinkholes and fissures. Named formations include Wuzi Dengke (五子登科) and Bajiao Cave (芭蕉硐).

Valleys and flower gardens

Qidonggou (七洞沟) includes a group of cliff tombs and several named valleys, among them Baima Gully (白马沟) and Suoluo Gully (桫椤沟). Shunan Flower Sea (蜀南花海) occupies a riverside landscape with bamboo along the banks; its gardens include a crape-myrtle maze and the Menghuan Peninsula (梦幻半岛).
