Stone formations and sinkhole
At Shihai Yonglang (石海涌浪), ridged rock pinnacles and intersecting solution grooves resemble breaking waves. Couple Peaks (夫妻峰) divide near their tops into two unequal forms. Xiaoyanwan Sinkhole (小岩湾天坑) is surrounded by cliffs and reaches 208 metres in depth, with bamboo and trees growing at its bottom.
Underground and in the museum
Tianquan Cave (天泉洞) contains seven connected halls, with the main passage and its branches extending about 4.2 kilometres. Its rear opening lies partway up the cliff on the eastern side of Xiaoyanwan Sinkhole. The three-storey Xingwen Geological Museum (兴文地质博物馆) presents the area’s karst landforms and its Bo and Miao cultures (僰、苗).
