What to see
The August 23 Artillery Battle Museum (八二三戰史館), Chen Jinglan Western House (陳景蘭洋樓) and Qionglin Tunnel (瓊林坑道) are among Jinhu’s historical sites. On Taiwu Mountain (太武山), the Wu-Wang-Zai-Ju inscription (毋忘在莒) is another landmark connected with the island’s military past.
Coast and park
In July 2026, the township added two oversized chairs at the coastal 82 site (82據點). One is a lookout chair facing the sea; the other uses bright colors. At Taihu’s Zhongzheng Park, a pumpkin carriage and painted boat added two contrasting pieces of public art.
Getting oriented
Kinmen Airport (金門機場) is within Jinhu. The township’s attractions extend beyond that transport gateway to inland settlements, the lake and the coast.
