Five linked waterscapes

The park combines water features, planting, pedestrian paths and landscaped corridors. Five waterscapes extend through it, with more than two kilometres of waterways. Fengwei Lake (凤尾湖) is one of its named water features. The design retains the natural appearance of vegetation, lakes, gullies and paths wherever possible.

Bridges, rockwork and woodland steps

A path climbs a gentle slope towards an artificial hill built from stone, where water cascades in summer. The blue Rainbow Bridge (彩虹桥) provides a view over much of the park. Beyond the bridge, a stone-stepped path winds down through woodland. Xinjiang Daily (新疆日报) documented snow-covered trees, shrubs and rocks on this route in December 2018, when snow partly covered the rockwork.
