A lake in Buddhist tradition
The lake lies about thirty-six kilometres from the county seat at roughly 4,300 metres. It stretches approximately five kilometres, reaching one and a half kilometres at its widest. The county government recounts a tradition that the lake arose from a tear of Avalokiteshvara (观世音菩萨). Its green surface reflects snow-covered mountains, trees and flowers.
Twelve storerooms at Guqu
The granary ruins stand in Guqu Village (古曲村), surrounded by water on three sides and facing west. Twelve storage rooms occupy a Tibetan building with two levels and a flat roof. Earth, timber and stone form the structure, whose site covers about 969 square metres.
