The old town’s buildings
Qingmuchuan stands where Shaanxi, Gansu (甘肃) and Sichuan (四川) meet. Its named sights include the Wei Family Residence (魏氏宅院), the Jinxi River (金溪河), and Rongshengkui (荣盛魁), also called the dry-land boat house. Fuyou Society (辅友社) is identified locally as the Western-style building, while Fengyu Bridge (风雨桥) has the alternative name Feifeng Bridge (飞凤桥).
Following the river to its source
The Han River Headwaters scenic area (汉江源头风景区) lies in Majiahe Village (马家河村), seventeen kilometres from the county seat. Forest, waterfalls and rock formations make up its landscape. Water descends through a narrow mountain valley, forming a sequence described by the county government as three waterfalls and three pools.
