Brewing heritage

Gubeichun Industrial Tourism Park (古贝春工业旅游园区) focuses on liquor and modern industrial culture. The company originated at the Laocheng Distillery (老城酒厂), beside the Grand Canal. Its Laocheng cultural site presents Qing dynasty fermentation pits, a company history museum and a collection of objects. Gubeichun’s traditional brewing techniques entered Shandong’s provincial intangible heritage list in 2016.

Songs and local traditions

Wucheng Canal Boatmen’s Work Songs (武城运河船工号子) are associated with canal-side settlements including Jiamaying Town (甲马营镇) and Sinüsi Town (四女寺镇). They received provincial intangible heritage recognition in 2006. The county also lists Wucheng Xuanbing Making (武城旋饼制作工艺), a food-making tradition from Laocheng Town (老城镇), among its municipal intangible heritage projects, listed in 2007.
