Factories with new uses
The WorldSkills Museum (世界技能博物馆) occupies the western building of the Yongan Warehouse (永安栈房), completed in 1930. Green Hill (绿之丘), once a tobacco-company machinery-repair warehouse, has stepped roof gardens. At Yangshupu Power Plant Ruins Park (杨树浦电厂遗迹公园), surviving columns, foundations and coal-handling structures remain visible, while former ash-storage tanks have become the Ash Warehouse Art Space (灰仓艺术空间).
A greenway by the forest park
Beside Gongqing Forest Park (共青森林公园), a roughly 670-metre greenway runs from the eastern side of Nenjiang Road (嫩江路) towards the ferry landing. Pines, cypresses, shrubs and a small lake line the route. At its end, a bamboo maze has a sprout design made from wood chips on the ground.
