What to see

Jiangkou Chenyin Museum (江口沉银博物馆) stands beside the original discovery site, on the delta where the Min (岷江) and Fu (府河) rivers meet. At its media presentation on 3 March 2026, exhibits included a gold seal inscribed Shu Shizi Bao (蜀世子宝), Xiwang Shanggong gold coins (西王赏功金币), silver ingots, gold ornaments and bracelets. These were among more than seven thousand objects presented at that event.

Food and local products

Pengshan sweet-skinned duck (彭山甜皮鸭) combines crisp skin with tender meat and sweet-salty seasoning. The district government describes rubbing ducks with Sichuan pepper, salt and cooking wine, then marinating and simmering them in seasoned stock. Hot oil is ladled over the birds to finish the skin.
