Reservoir views
Dapu Lovers Park (大埔情人公園) occupies the northeastern corner of the reservoir. A heart-shaped entrance arch introduces its rose-themed installations: an oversized bouquet, a perfume bottle and a postcard-shaped frame. The pink visitor information building repeats the rose motif on its exterior. At the lakeshore, the red Tongxin Suspension Bridge (同心吊橋) connects with Hubin Park (湖濱公園) across the water, with views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains.
Driftwood craft
Heping Community (和平社區) turns driftwood into violins, giving rise to the Tsengwen Reservoir Driftwood Violin Village (曾文水庫漂流木提琴村). The community also has the Dapu Philharmonic String Ensemble (大埔愛樂弦樂團), which performed at the scenic area administration’s September 2026 press conference.
