Waterbirds and wooded paths

Bade Pond Ecological Park (八德埤塘自然生態公園) combines large banyan trees with lotus ponds, waterbirds, tree frogs and dragonflies. Wooden walkways, pavilions and wetland platforms provide different views of its habitat. Bakuaicuo Folk Arts Village (八塊厝民俗藝術村), inside Danan Forest Park (大湳森林公園), uses restored buildings with red tiles, white walls and decorative windows to introduce folk skills, performing arts and Taiwanese-language culture.

Cacao and chocolate

Republic of Chocolate (77巧克力共和國) interprets cacao growing and chocolate making. Its greenhouse contains cacao trees, while outdoor areas include a children’s drawing wall and planting displays. Chocolate-making activities connect the exhibits with the finished food.
