Objects and stories in the museum
Lüchun County Museum (绿春县博物馆) presents Hani livelihoods, customs and religious ideas across twelve galleries. Reliefs depict migration, terraces, tea and caravans. Agricultural objects, songs and clothing from different Hani branches accompany collections concerned with work, domestic life, religion and textiles. Guides also use videos and clothing presentations to interpret the material.
Clothing and village crafts
In Potou Village (坡头村), Daxing Town (大兴镇), the Nuoma Amei Hani Clothing Transmission Centre (诺玛阿美哈尼服饰传习馆) teaches textile skills. Embroiderers learn from Bai Yushou (白玉收), and the centre organises skills competitions and exchange exhibitions. Hani celebrations also include the Kuzhazha Sixth-Month Festival (矻扎扎) and Angmatu village-deity festival (昂玛突).
