Streets around the temple
The market centres on Dianji Temple (奠濟宮) beside Rensan Road (仁三路). Its main food-stall stretch occupies the section between Aier Road (愛二路) and Aisan Road (愛三路). The North Coast and Guanyinshan (北海岸及觀音山) National Scenic Area Administration describes nearly 200 stalls concentrated within roughly 300–400 metres. Shops and stalls selling everyday goods and clothing also occupy the surrounding area.
Miaokou snacks
Local specialities include dingbiancuo (鼎邊趖), tianbula (天婦羅), charcoal-grilled sandwiches, pork trotters, oyster omelettes and braised pork rice. Seafood, grilled chicken and fruit ices broaden the selection. In 2010, the Tourism Bureau (交通部觀光局) awarded Miaokou its Most Delicious Night Market (最美味夜市) and Friendliest Night Market (最友善夜市) honours.
