Two hearts built for fishing
Twin Hearts Stone Weir (雙心石滬) is a fishing trap built from basalt and coral reef material. Its walls form the paired heart shapes that become fully visible as the tide retreats.
The waiting wife
Wangfu Rock (望夫石) resembles a woman lying on her back, with the outlines of hair, feet and a pregnant belly. Local legend tells of a wife who waited on the coast for a fisherman who never returned, died there and was buried beside the sea. Tidal pools around the rock contain small fish and crabs, adding living detail to the weathered coastal formation. A stone bridge crosses part of the formation towards the tidal pools.
