Temple and a boat in the park
Dazhuang Haotian Temple (大庄浩天宮) is a Mazu temple in Dazhuang village, recognised among Taichung’s cultural assets. It has also appeared as a location in film and television. Dingyuliao Park (頂魚寮公園) has unusually shaped slides and a large boat decorated with traditional stories on its grounds.
Old street food and harbour views
Wuqi Old Street (梧棲老街) is a straight, relatively quiet street where the tourism guide highlights meat dumplings and tofu pudding. Wuqi Night Market (梧棲夜市) has oyster omelettes with sweet-hot sauce. At Mitsui Outlet Park Taichung Port (MITSUI OUTLET PARK臺中港), a waterfront Ferris wheel includes some cabins with transparent floor panels.
