Sculptures in the eastern park
Jangar Cultural Park (江格尔文化园) occupies the eastern part of the county seat. Its features include Jangar Palace (江格尔宫), the Soaring Dragon Horse sculpture (龙马腾飞), the Twelve Warriors group (十二勇士) and the Blessing Bowl sculpture (福碗). Other pieces depict a Jangarchi figure (江格尔齐), carved totem columns and stone lions.
A square and several monuments
Donggui Cultural Park (东归文化园), on the northern side of the county seat, centres on Donggui Square (东归广场). Its other sites include the Prince’s Mansion (王爷府), the World Peace Thousand-Buddha Pagoda (世界和平千佛大塔) and Aobaotekure Temple (敖包特库热庙).
A terrace outside Hoxtolgay
Camel Stone Terrace (骆驼石高台), fifteen kilometres north of Hoxtolgay, preserves evidence of prehistoric human activity. The county government dates the site to approximately 50,000–100,000 years ago.
