Setting and landscape
The garden occupies Shigu Mountain (石鼓山), the findspot of the ancient stone drums. The Yinxiang River (茵香河) borders its east, Jifeng Mountain (鸡峰山) rises to the south, and the park looks north across the Wei River and west towards the urban area.
What to see
The museum concentrates on Zhou- and Qin-period bronze culture. Among its objects are the He Zun (何尊), a Western Zhou vessel with a 122-character inscription inside its base, and the Lai Pan (逨盘). The collections also contain jade and other stone objects, pottery and porcelain.
