History
Taiping Ancient Town (太平古镇) preserves places associated with the Red Army’s second and fourth crossings of the Chishui. The wider town contains revolutionary sites across its villages and communities. A visitor centre in the Four Crossings of the Chishui tourism area presents this history through educational and cultural experiences.
What to see
Huangjing Laolin (黄荆老林) includes the Sunzishan–Honglong Lake (笋子山—红龙湖) and Bajiedong–Liangjiashan (八节洞—梁家山) areas. Their forests support dove trees, yews and tree ferns. Karst scenery elsewhere includes Jianzhu Daheidong (箭竹大黑洞) and Gulang Cave (古郎洞). In Erlang Town (二郎镇), Langjiu Estate (郎酒庄园) on Tianbao Peak (天宝峰) introduces visitors to liquor brewing and storage traditions.
