Three halls and carved decoration
Founded in 1651, the temple retains a traditional arrangement of three halls and two side wings, connected by corridors and courtyards. Swallowtail roof ridges rise above decoration in glazed pottery, timber and stone. Painted and carved flowers, birds, deities and animals appear across the structure, while older plaques, shrines, incense burners and divination-stick containers remain inside.
A ritual link with Linluo
An annual festival takes Wangye Nainai (王爺奶奶) on a ceremonial return to her maternal home. Worshippers from Linluo Township (麟洛鄉) first come to receive the deity; after several days, Jiuru’s devotees escort her back. The celebration includes a lantern procession and prayers for local peace and wellbeing.
