Tang paintings
The museum holds Tang-dynasty murals. Its conservator Gao Chunlin (高春林) has participated in restoring and copying paintings from the tombs of Consort Wei (韦贵妃) and Princess Changle (长乐公主). Shaanxi’s CPPCC news site credits him with producing almost all of the mural copies exhibited in the museum.
Yuanjia Village
Yuanjia began developing rural tourism in 2007, focusing on Guanzhong (关中) customs. Three old buildings were purchased, dismantled and reassembled to their original appearance. The resulting folk-culture street includes a teahouse and workshops for oil, cloth, flour, vinegar and chilli products. Hitching posts, stone troughs and grinding stones contribute to its agricultural setting.
