Five stone arches
Completed in 1933, Dong’an Bridge has five semicircular arches, each spanning 6.7 metres, supported by four piers and two abutments. The piers widen towards their bases. Later strengthening added half-cylinder forms, and a newer bridge was built beside the old crossing as traffic increased.
Taihe Temple’s timber halls
Taihe Temple (太和宮), also called Sanjie Temple (三界廟), honours the Three Great Emperor Officials (三官大帝). Founded around 1812, it moved several times before reconstruction at its present site began in 1929. Repairs completed in 1972 retained the original timber structures in the front and rear halls. Bell and drum towers stand above the side wings.
