A platform over the sea
Completed in August 2021, the structure uses the earlier platform’s base. Its walkway is about 57 metres long and leads to an open outlook over the sea and sunset. A Sanzhi artist and the city’s professional team designed the ring installation around ideas of connection and unity. The platform links to the park path, which continues towards Qianshuiwan Coastal Park (淺水灣濱海公園).
The boundary headland
At the boundary with Shimen District (石門區), Linshanbi (麟山鼻) has andesite rocks shaped into angular forms by waves and wind-blown sand. Algal growth has also created thin calcareous layers on the rock surface. The coastal cycling route also has views of casuarina woodland.
