An old police station reused

Gueiren Living Art Centre (歸仁美學館), beside the local roundabout, occupies premises formerly used by the police precinct and other agencies. Following conversion, it was inaugurated in 2010 as a place for reading, learning and recreation. The old detention rooms retain their original appearance.

Temple worship and local produce

Renshou Temple (仁壽宮) chiefly worships Baosheng Dadi (保生大帝). It has a custom of taking turns hosting ritual ceremonies with Baoxi Daitian Temple (保西代天府) and Guanmiao Shanxi Temple (關廟山西宮). Gueiren also produces Damuzi sugar apples (大目仔釋迦), described by the district office as soft and sweet. At Qijia Flower-growing Area (七甲花卉園區), gardens display flowers grown and traded locally.
