Jiangjunshan’s winter slopes
At Jiangjunshan, lifts and conveyor belts carry skiers through the snowy mountain setting. Skiers use the snowy runs, while Luotuo Peak (骆驼峰) is another local place associated with snow views. The city’s winter landscape extends into its streets and public squares, including Wanchi Square (万驰广场).
Small objects and a waterside walk
Jinshan Market has souvenir stalls with locally themed small objects, including nang-bread (馕) refrigerator magnets and decorative coasters. Beyond the market, the Hongxing Canal (红星渠) links working water infrastructure with recreation. A renovation of its 3.3-kilometre core section preserved its irrigation role while adding six kilometres of colourful walking paths, making the canal part of the city’s everyday outdoor landscape.
