Workshops behind the shops
At Kalabashilangan Village (喀拉巴什兰干村), the Yengisar Knife Craft Park (英吉沙小刀工艺园) brings knife manufacture into view. In the knife village, shops stand before working courtyards where craftspeople demonstrate smelting, forging, quenching, grinding and inlay. More than ten stages go into making a knife. The traditional knife-making craft entered the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2008.
Plain and glazed pottery
Pottery is made at Qakerikuyi Village (恰克日库依村). Yengisar pottery includes plain and glazed wares, with jars, pots, plates, bowls and basins among the forms. Traditional mould-based firing techniques were nationally listed in 2006. In September 2025, Nanfang Plus described visitor lessons in kneading clay, shaping pots and painting, alongside displayed work at the pottery village.
