Temples on the gorge edge
Baiyun Temple (白云观), also called Baiyunmiao (白云庙), stands on Baiyun Mountain (白云山). Founded in 1606, it follows the slope around a central Zhenwu Hall (真武祖师殿), with halls, pavilions, towers, murals and Ming- and Qing-period carving. Xianglu Temple (香炉寺) projects from a rocky cliff beside the Yellow River; its forward pavilion stands on an isolated rock pillar.
Jujubes and riverside heritage
The county’s other named sites include Yunyan Temple’s grottoes (云岩寺) and the old ferry settlement of Mutouyu (木头峪). Jia’s youzao jujubes (油枣) have thin skins, thick flesh and small stones, adding a distinctive local crop to the river landscape.
